Our Key Players
Thomas Weber
Tom Weber has been designing, installing and
managing computing systems for more than twenty
years. He has supported a variety of operational
environments, from startup development, production
financials and payroll, to complex multi-site
multi-technology development platforms. He has
extensive experience in both writing and managing
service-level and operational-level agreements.
Tom's primary expertise is in fixing and making
operable existing applications which were poorly
constructed. He can analyze, find, and fix
performance and stability issues so that organizations
can get more value (greater uptime and less
headaches) from their current product suite. Tom also
has experience in rebuilding IT operational
organizations and their processes so that metrics are
established, captured, and acted upon—improving
general operations and decreasing costs. Tom started
Alcyone Consulting Group to help organizations make
sense of their existing and future technology
components. His no-nonsense vision insures that
organizations get simplicity and value from the
applications they have, and offers choices upon
which clients can thrive in the future.
Brad Mitchell
Brad Mitchell has been developing and installing
computer systems for more than 20 years, working
with clients ranging from non-profit associations to
multibillion-dollar corporations. He has worked with
consulting startup ventures, mid-tiers, and Big Five
organizations. His varied clients include financial,
software, retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and
professional services industry leaders. Brad ’s expertise
includes program management and operating new
business organizations within consulting firms. He
has also created new business practices in the areas
of eProcurement, Web portals and knowledge
management systems. Brad’s technical experience
includes development and management of systems
on platforms including legacy mainframe,standalone
workstations, Lotus Notes/Domino, Ariba, custom SQL
Server, and Microsoft and Java Web platforms. In his
20 years he has proven his ability to listen to clients,
design and build systems that meet their needs and
successfully manage long term relationships. He has
also demonstrated expertise in building and leading
diverse teams. Mr.Mitchell’s background places him
in the role of business development and consulting
operations management.
